Stress Management Campaign

At the Counseling Center, we focus on promoting healthy stress management skills, including resilience and help-seeking. We recognize that self-doubt may begin to creep up from time to time, especially as you gather your strength for the most stressful points in the semester, but we encourage you to identify and 鈥渢urn off鈥 the negative messages you might be sending yourself.  A 鈥渉ealthy mind,鈥 one in which stress exists but is managed well, is linked to better academic outcomes and higher grades.

Find more information on stress management.

We also offer an array of relaxation exercises to wind down from a stressful day of studying.

And if you or a friend feel that your stress level is so high that it is interfering with your schoolwork, relationships, or enjoyment of life, please stop by the Counseling Center to schedule an appointment to speak with a counselor in HU150 or call 410-617-CARE (2273). We鈥檙e here to help 鈥 so let鈥檚 talk!
