Academic and Instructional Continuity
As part of business continuity planning, academic or instructional continuity is critical to the mission of the University. There are several resources available to the academic community. The office of Academic Affairs website contains information for Maintaining Class During University Closures. The Office of Digital Teaching & Learning has a Continuation of Teaching page that offers additional resources and training. Please take time to review these and incorporate them into your program. If you would like additional training on how to use these programs, Technology Services has a that you may access and register for the program you are interested in.
To assist faculty members in maintaining instructional continuity, the Emergency Management Team has developed an Academic Continuity Planning Guide. This document asks questions and provides suggestions on how to ensure academic/instructional continuity in the event that a disaster or emergency affects our campus.
The Emergency Management Team has developed several resources to assist faculty members in being better prepared for an emergency or disaster.
