Appointments
To schedule an appointment, please call the office at 410-617-5055. All currently registered students, both undergraduate and graduate, are welcome to access the Student Health Center.
We strongly advise students to call ahead to make an appointment. Our appointment times fill quickly so it is best to call as early in the day as possible to ensure same-day visits. Walk-ins will be welcomed and offered the next available time slot which can vary during the time of year. We do our best to see students on the same day, but during high-volume times (i.e., before breaks/before exams) this could be the next business day.
Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. During school breaks and over the summer our administrative office is open, but our clinic is closed. Our office is closed during all university observed holidays.
Appointment Cancellations
We understand there may be a time where you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If this happens, we just ask that you do so in a timely manner so that we may be able to not only accommodate you, but also the other students we serve here at ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±Íø.
To cancel or reschedule your appointment just call our office at 410-617-5055. If it is after business hours and you would like to cancel your appointment, please email us at healthservices@loyola.edu.
Lateness Policy
While we will do our best accommodate you into the schedule, out of consideration to other students, if you are more than 10 minutes late you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. Like any doctor’s office, we ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early for your scheduled appointment so that you can complete any necessary paperwork and have your vitals completed, etc.
No-Show Fee
A No-Show fee of $20 will be charged to your student account for failure to cancel your appointment before your scheduled appointment time.
What to bring to your appointment
We request that students come prepared to every visit with:
- Student ID/Evergreen card
- Insurance card
- Form of payment- cash, credit/debit check or Evergreen card only
- Any relevant medical forms needed for your visit
Cost
There is no per-visit charge for undergraduate students.* Please note, there could be charges if rapid in-house testing/procedures (i.e., strep test, suture removal, etc.) are done or if pharmacy items are dispensed. SHS does not bill student insurance for services, and payment is due at the time of the appointment. For more information, please see our Clinical Fees page.
*There is a $25/visit fee for graduate students
Confidentiality
Please be assured that our front desk staff and clinicians will always maintain your confidentiality. Due to privacy regulations, it is important students please call to schedule their own appointments (in lieu of parent, trainer, roommate, or friend calling for them). We encourage you to be honest about your health concern so that your appointment can be scheduled appropriately. There will be no judgment or breach of confidentiality.
